I have been so busy lately. I am helping my neighbor and friend with her Inn and Irish Pub, and we have been FECKIN' Busy!!!
On the left are two of my friends Ginny in the back, and Ellen the owner with a bowl of her popular fish chowder. Here in Downeast Maine we pronounce it.

Today I can spoil myself like a GODDESS!
I have the day off and I will enjoy it with my favorite salad dressing Annies Goddess and greens from Kim's place.
I was lucky enough to get two out of three of the Netflix I have been waiting for. I am still waiting for THE SECRET, but I was able to watch PEACEFUL WARRIOR (very Zen) and WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW.
I plan on watching What The Bleep one more time because it is so amazing!!! I highly recommend it. :}
This is one of SIX of my furry neighbors. My friend breeds Berners, also known as Bernese Mountain Dogs.
They are pretty big and similar to St. Bernard dogs. They have a very sweet temperament. This winter I think I will hook them up to a sled. :}

Although I have different flowers around my home, I NEVER bring them into the house. I prefer to enjoy my flowers outside and I don't like cut flowers. Only plants are allowed in the house.
This year for Mother's Day my family knew NOT to give me flowers without ROOTS. It took awhile to enjoy them, but here they are.
I hope they survive the winter. :}
Ignore the bruises going all the way up my leg. Some I couldn't take a picture of, but I am walking around like John Wayne and calling people pilgrim . :}
I am actually having fun learning how to ride this. Balancing from side to side is just as easy as a regular bike, it's just the front and back balancing that is difficult. When the bike rolls ahead of me, I jump off like Pee Wee Herman and tell eveyone "I meant to do that!"
In the morning I look at the unicycle and say "Goooood Morning.......I'm Heeeeere. " I hope I never have to visit the basement of The Alamo.
I can't help it, I'm a huge Tim Burton fan. :}
I haven't been able to do anything fun lately. I have purchased a Shakuhachi flute and I sound like a dieing whale.
I am also waiting to get my unicycle next week and see how that goes.
The goal this summer is to try to get our house painted and do a little more work on these two buildings.

My daughter Crystal has recently moved, and because she is now four hours away from Lubec it is difficult to see her as often as we would like.
It was a treat to get these three Gnomes in the mail today.

In the Jan 07 Prevention Magazine there was an article about a woman that creates a visual road map of the things she plans to accomplish during the year. I thought is was a great idea and decided to make my own map instead of a New Years Resolution List.

These two little mice were a gift from a friend named Linda Throckmorton that owns a fabric store in Machias Maine called Ginghams.
Linda is a great crafter and quilter, and wanted me to share my little mice online.
