FUNKY SOCK SWAP CHAIN LETTER WARNING!!
Topic: PATTERNS

I received a chain letter over the weekend to be part of a sock exchange. I had a little pair of sock earrings that I sent the person on my letter. IF YOU ARE ONE OF MY FRIENDS or DAUGHTER ( this means YOU RAIN!) expect one in the mail SOON. :0) I can only mail one to six people so if you didn't get one and would like a blank to start it in your area click on the image to get started. Share your 36 socks and other sock related images on Flickr at SOCK HEAVEN

I posted this pattern on Flickr for Amy Karol for posting her hot pad on Hot Mitt Monthly.
Thank You AMY!!
As soon as the weather starts to get warm I can't help wanting to hang my clothes outside to dry.
They always smell so much better when they dry outside.

RECIPE FOR LAVENDER WATER TO SPRAY ON CLOTHES

3 cups of distilled water
3 ounces vodka
15-30 drops essential oil of lavender

Sterilize a glass container by placing it in boiling water for 3 minutes. Allow to cool.
Pour the distilled water and vodka in to the glass, using a funnel if needed..
Add the lavender oil and stir.

Results will mellow with time. This lavender water will last approximately 1 year.

GREAT TO SPRAY ON CLOTHES AND PILLOWCASES. :0)

1920's Cloche Hat
Topic: PATTERNS

I made this hat for the swap from a pattern I purchased awhile ago from The Vintage Pattern Lending Library
I wanted to add ribbon and flowers or lucky charms on the edge of the hat but since there was such a concern about the package running late I'll let the future owner add what she likes. I did get a chance to embroider the words "lucky Hat" on the inside.

I love Cloche Hats.

THAI FISHERMEN PANTS
Topic: PATTERNS

My favorite pants are Thai Fishermen Pants .
I buy them on Ebay because they normally run under 18.00 which saves me the time and money I would spend making my own. Sometimes if I get lucky I can find nice fabric at $1.00 a yard. If you're up to the challenge click on the image and try your hand at making what I think is the best pair of pants ever.
