# 3 Wine Glass Shades
Topic: PATTERNS

When I am in a pinch and I need a small box template I know I can always turn to Mirkwood Designs. I think she has the sweetest templates for treat and cake boxes. I was surprised to see the wine glass shade template.

Thank You Mirkwood Designs!

Hitty received her necklace swap this week, THANK YOU DONNA!

Next month I have decided to try and carve my own Bitty Hitty

for the fairy swap. I have until March to mail it, so we will see how they turn out.  :}

#8 Rudolph Steiner
Topic: PATTERNS

I made these mini Steiner dolls from Soozs pattern for a little girl named Anna that comes to visit me when I work at the Post Office.

There is a great Flickr Steiner group.

I'm amazed with THE PAPA of BIODYNAMICS!

# 25 Polish Hitty Dolls
Topic: PATTERNS

I decided last month to try my hand at carving and making a Hitty doll so I purchased a warren carving set and tried my hand at the tutorial Melanie posted on the Hitty Site. It was nice using the polish doll as a carving blank.

This was a fun project. I wish that I had more time to carve a Hitty from the plank of wood on up. Maybe after the Holidays. :}

Handmade Christmas #1
Topic: PATTERNS

This is a very old painting near my front door of St. Terese. I was inspired to join a Catholic Home Flickr group after I posted the St. Jude prayer. I have always wanted to  make my own rosary, and I think it would be a nifty idea to add them as an extra Christmas gift for my fmaily members this year. I might not be able to make them out of rose petals  but there are so many pretty beads at craft stores, I'm sure I can come up with something nice. I will post my creations closer to Christmas.

Scherenschnitte
Topic: PATTERNS

My daughter was going to get me some wooden butter spoons that mold butter into pretty designs, but I just came across some folk art goodness. I have seen Mexican and Chinese papercuts but these are so pretty I think it will be the next thing on the "TO DO " list.

Baaa Baaa Basket
Topic: PATTERNS

This is the COMPLETED BASKET!!!

I am going to try spinning some roving instead of using it for wet felting, but I couldn't help wet felting some sculpey lambs before I turn the wool into yarn. :}

Basket Weaving
Topic: PATTERNS

I started taking basket making lessons last week and so far I have half of my basket tote done. I can't wait to stain it and fill it with yarn and things. The instructor also plans on showing us how to weave small bamboo tea strainers. This is such a fun class.  If you enjoy knitting and sewing I recommend basket making ( basket weaving).

CANDY the little BAT
Topic: PATTERNS

I have been inspired by SILVER SEAMS  to make a softie and while I was uploading images at Swap-Bot I came across this Halloween Softies Swap

I had some left over black fur from the Scottie Dogs I made and some Candy Corn fabric. Her name is Candy and she will find a new home as soon as I get my swap partner. :}
