Although I have different flowers around my home, I NEVER bring them into the house. I prefer to enjoy my flowers outside and I don't like cut flowers. Only plants are allowed in the house.

This year for Mother's Day my family knew NOT to give me flowers without ROOTS. It took awhile to enjoy them, but here they are. 

I hope they survive the winter.  :}

I haven't been able to do anything fun lately. I have purchased a Shakuhachi flute and I sound like a dieing whale.

I am also waiting to get my unicycle next week and see how that goes.

The goal this summer is to try to get our house painted and do a little more work on these two buildings.

I have decided not to stain the basket with basket stain.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OZIAHZ!!!

Last year I asked my husband if I could have a Blog and Pro Flickr account as my Birthday gift and he said "SURE!"

Today the Oziahz blog is ONE YEAR OLD and I am THIRTY-SOMETHING.

It has been so much fun all year connecting with friends through my blog and Flickr. I look forward to another great year, and a few more wrinkles. :}

I have read so many blog entries about Fall and all of the wonderful things that remind people of the season, apple pies, school supplies, pumpkins, etc.
For me I always feel like it is the time to watch re-runs of Miss Marple with tea, knitting needles, and yarn.

We have completed the shop and it is OPEN!!!

It is an ocean front commercial space so it's always " A  DAY AT THE BEACH. "

We feel so lucky to be a part of the town and to have the privledge to use the space. The owners John and Mildred are the best people you could ever meet.

 

 

A SHOP FULL OF WORK

I have been so busy with Rain repairing the small building that we plan to use as a gift shop for antiques and funky items. We had to remove a window, paint, install the electric and we are almost done. We should be open soon. We decided to name the shop OZIAHZ :}

I will keep you posted through Flickr as soon as we are done.

I miss my blog and Flickr friends, hope to be back soon.

Recycled Clothes Apron

The fabric came from a pretty linen light seamist colored two tier JJILL skirt that had a stain that wouldn't come out. I was able to cut out the stain and had enough fabric for not just ONE Potting Apron but TWO!! Great theme this month AMY!!!
Had TWICE THE FUN.
