I purchased this baby pixie from a woman on Ebay that was selling her mother in laws vintage Christmas items. She described it so ugly, it's cute.
I think he is JUST SO SWEET!
We named him Herry or HERALD instead of Harold. :0)
This is a potholder apron with Christmas penguins for my December Tie One On "Holiday Apron" theme.
The pattern is on my free PATTERNZ page.
Growing up in Southern California we would have to make a trip to Big Bear to enjoy the snow in the winter. I never liked my Mom decorating for Christmas in PLASTIC, melted plastic wall decor, a fake tree, and a plastic door santa instead of a fresh wreath. Now that I live in Maine (The Pine Tree State) I can't help hanging what I call "My California Wreath"
I picked this up at Wal Mart for 2.50. The scarf looks like fluffy snow balls. I thought my daughter would like it (kind of Kawaii looking) It was a simple kit just 31 big fluffy pre-made pom poms and 30 small pre-made pom poms. with about a 5' satin cord. Just thread the pom poms starting with a big one and a knot at the end, and keep threading alternating pom poms. Thread the pom poms so that they meet with one another without compressing them. It turned out to be a cute scarf. I wish they had the kit in metallic pom poms.
